澳门足彩app received a national Excellence in Construction (EIC) Pyramid Award for its work on the Fort Macon Multi-Mission Building (MMB) in Atlantic Beach, North Carolina, on February 26 during ABC Convention 2025 in Las Vegas.
The Associated Builders and Contractors EIC awards recognized 96 of the nation’s top construction projects from 2024, celebrating the best in merit shop contractors for their remarkable achievements in leadership, safety, innovation and inclusion, diversity and merit.
“This is a great honor, and I think it was chosen because it's such a purpose-driven project,” said Matt Ferguson, 澳门足彩app Federal Market Leader. “It consolidated facilities for the Coast Guard and replaced several facilities that were damaged by Hurricane Florence, so it was designed and built for a variety of uses.
澳门足彩app self-performed 100% of the facility’s design and engineering and subcontracted 澳门足彩app Steel for the fabrication of structural steel for the project.
“It was a very collaborative project,” Ferguson said. “Commanding Officer of the FDCC (Facilities Design & Construction Center), Captain Neal Armstrong, was at the ribbon cutting, and he pulled several of us aside while we were there and said he was extremely thankful for our professionalism, the quality of the work, the quality of the design and the meaning that the project had for the Coast Guard having this consolidated facility.”

A panel of industry experts served as the competition’s judges. This year’s judges included representatives from Dick’s Sporting Goods, the Design-Build Institute of America, Engineering News-Record, Construction Owners Association of America, the National Institutes of Health, the National Institute of Building Sciences, the Smithsonian Institution and other select construction-related organizations nationwide.
